I Commit To Discharge My Duties Satisfactorily – Sam George

The Minister-designate for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama, for nominating to serve in his government. The Ningo Prampram Member of Parliament said his was humble by the opportunity to serve the nation in such capacity.

“This afternoon, I received notification of my nomination by H.E. John Dramani Mahama as the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations. I am immensely humbled by this opportunity to serve his government and our Nation” he wrote on his Facebook page following the announcement of his nomination dated Tuesday, January 21.

Mr. Nartey George further pledged to subject himself to this duty to the satisfaction of the Ghanaian people and admiration of the President.

The Minister-designate added that, “Subject to the required Parliamentary approval, I commit to undertake a reset of our communications sector and position Ghana once again as a leader in digital technology that serves the people of Ghana.”

“I pledge myself to discharge this duty to the satisfaction of the Ghanaian people and admiration of His Excellency” he emphasized.

“I count on you all for constructive feedback to enable me achieve the needed changes and introduce the needed innovation into the sector. I would not fail you in my service to you. My doors are always open” he stated.
